BRING YOUR FRIENDS. RIDE GRAVEL. HAVE A BEER.

The first edition of the Dusty Moon Gravel Ride will take place on Saturday June 13th 2020.

The Dusty Moon Gravel Ride originated out of the personal quest of a group of gravel enthusiasts living in Mechelen, the heart of Belgium. They set out to map the best un-paved sections in their region, a region that is mostly build-up, and not particularly known for its off-road adventures. Needless to say, it was a challenge mapping all these hidden gems, but the result was worth sharing with all other gravel grinders!

Since the historical nickname of inhabitants from Mechelen is Maneblussers (Moon Extinguishers), the event name had to refer to 'moon'. And the dust* ? Well that explains itself right?

And that's the story of how the Dusty Moon Gravel Ride was born.

*#FUNFACT: 'Dust' means 'thirsty' in flemish.
